Happy Sunday! I want to share a small post with you today about You. You were born to do great things in your life and do what you want to do. Most people just go thru the motions each day; they wake up to a clock and don’t eat properly before rushing out the door, then they set in some traffic to get to a job they really don’t like. They barely make it the eight or nine hours then go home and eat and then watch TV and then repeat. Their weekends are time for having a little fun, drinking a few drinks and maybe grilling out and then more TV. Then it is Monday! Does this seem about right? This is not what you were born to do! It starts with getting up. What you do every day is what makes the difference from living the life I…

Truth and Reality

A great inspiration!
This quote from the famous Mahatma Gandhi speaks of truth to its highest form.
In the first sentence, it involves the truth about you, the truth you know and speak, and the people around. You, of all people, knows who you really are deep down inside your mind and heart. No one except God can judge you, for no one else knows what runs in your mind and heart, unless you speak of it. When you choose to speak of that truth about yourself and any truth that you know, many people will always have something to say about it. Some will believe you, while others will not and even contradict what you have said. Today, the sad reality is that people will not just contradict you but judge you in your face and behind your back with other people who don’t know who you really are. Those people will get the wrong impression of the truth about you which is the worst case possible.
In the second sentence, Gandhi states that you should never apologize, that is absolutely correct. You never have to be sorry for showing and speaking what is true and correct. In fact, those people who have contradicted and judged the truth you speak of, are the ones who have to apologize for what they did. Maybe, they can escape from their wrong doings in the eyes of fellow-men but never in the eyes of God.
In the last sentence, Gandhi encourages you to be brave enough to speak what you know is right and true. Whatever your status in life, you should fight for the truth.
“The truth will set you free.”
“The truth will always prevail.”

Humanity and Technology

Personal Computers, Laptops, Notebooks, Netbooks, Tablets, Smartphones, Smart watches, these are just examples of gadgets that are in today’s trend.
In these modern times, technology has become fast-paced. Almost every month, new models and units of gadgets came out; hardware and software are always updated; light and heavy weighted machines are developed; human and animal shaped robots are made out of very tiny pieces.
Some people have those things while others don’t. People with these kinds of things are somehow lucky because they can afford to have one amidst the growing crisis in the world. On the other side, people who cannot have these things as of the moment are still considered lucky because they remain to be simple and didn’t succumb to pressure to have one.
These material things have advantages and disadvantages depending on the different aspects and perspectives of the user and the people surrounding them. Also, these things can bring us lessons in life which we never knew about.
We are humans; we need and want technology in our lives.
We can change technology, but we can’t let technology change us.
